2. The Malik Willis hype train is already in full swing

Malik Willis transferred from Auburn to Liberty where he quietly had one of the best seasons by a quarterback last season.

In 10 games he completed 64.2 percent of his passes 2,250 yards with 20 touchdowns to six interceptions. He thrived as a runner throughout his career, running for 1,253  yards and 16 touchdowns on 7.4 yards per carry.

There’s a chance Willis will end up being the top quarterback in the 2022 class.

There’s so much to like about his game. Some of the plays he makes with his feet and arm look he’s toying with defenses.

Willis has a ridiculous arm. He throws a beautiful deep ball and throws a blistering fastball on intermediate throws with precise accuracy. He can throw it to the far sideline and make tough NFL throws.

And he’s one of the top athletes in the country. Eluding sacks and making a play downfield with his arm is something he does with routine consistency.

Willis has a special opportunity that most small school players don’t get. There is a lot of hype going into his draft season after last year’s breakout season and if he builds on that this year, he could hear his name called very early in the 2022 NFL Draft.
