1. Joel Embiid is unstoppable

Despite his injuries this season, Embiid still thinks he’s the MVP, and his recent dominance suggests the same. Whether he’s dropping 50 points in a game or Dream-shaking his opponents left and right, Embiid makes everything he do look easy, even if he is a 7-foot 280-pound 27-year-old playing in arguably the most strenuous position on the court.

He does things a center shouldn’t be able to do, like record 86 percent free-throw shooting, which will be much-needed in clutch moments of playoffs games. He’s also shooting a career-high 37.7 percent from beyond the arc, and you already know he’s nearly unguardable in the paint.

The Sixers’ title hopes may very well rest on this big man’s shoulders, and Embiid will be ready to take on the challenge to win his first championship in his fifth year on the team.
