2. Reach first conference finals in franchise history

It is truly amazing when you realize that the Clippers have never made it to the Western Conference Finals. Not even the Lob City Clippers with Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan could make it to the third round of the playoffs. But it remains a sad fact for the Clippers fanbase.

After the signing of Leonard and trade of George in 2019, many believed the Clippers’ floor was a conference finals appearance. Basketball pundits everywhere envisioned the Clippers squaring off against the Los Angeles Lakers with the chance to reach the 2020 NBA Finals. But in the Orlando bubble this past year, LA blew a 3-1 series lead to the Denver Nuggets and was sent home in the conference semis. The curse still feels very real.

Even with the amount of powerful teams in the West, it is entirely possible that the Clippers can follow their current path to reach their first Western Conference Finals in franchise history. This team is way too talented to be handed another early exit in the playoffs.
