29. Replacing Eric Stokes at Georgia: Kelee Ringo

With the way Kirby Smart has recruited, Georgia is never short on talent. Yet, with Stokes, Tyson Campbell and Tyrique Stevenson all gone from last year’s cornerback group, the Bulldogs have a lot of questions to answer at the position.

Redshirt senior Ameer Speed could take a starting job, as could true freshman Nyland Green. But Kelee Ringo is a redshirt freshman who was the top corner recruit in 2020 and may have seen the field last season at times if not for injury. He still needs to come along and adjust to the college game but he has the opportunity to affirm himself as the top option.

30. Replacing Gregory Rousseau at Miami (FL): Jahfari Harvey

As mentioned previously, Rousseau opted out of last year, so Miami is actually replacing Quincy Roche. Regardless of the semantics, the predominant theory is that super senior Zach McCloud, a veteran moving to the edge from a more traditional linebacker spot, will step into the role.

Given his transition, though, it’s hard for me to imagine him being best served as an every-down player and not more as a rotational piece. Jahfari Harvey, however, is fascinating. Though he’s yet to put it all together, his physical tools show the profile of a player who can make a lot of noise in ACC backfields.

31. Replacing Odafe Oweh at Penn State: Arnold Ebiketie

No one is going to be the unreal athlete Odafe Oweh (formerly called Jayson) was at Penn State. There are only a handful of human beings in the world who are his size with the ability to move as he does.

That said, the Nittany Lions hope Temple transfer Arnold Ebiketie can be more productive as Oweh failed to get a sack last season. The newcomer was productive for the Owls last season and brings a nice bit of burst and seasoning in his game to help James Franklin’s team get to the opposing quarterback with more regularity.

32. Replacing Joe Tryon at Washington: Sav’ell Smalls

Because Joe Tryon opted out, the Huskies had a replacement already on the field in 2020 and Zion Tupuola-Fetui looked to be a rising national star. Sadly, he’s already been lost for the 2021 campaign, though, after tearing his Achilles in the spring. That will bring former highly-rated recruit, Sav’ell Smalls, into the fold. He hasn’t shown much on the field in his limited work with Washington to this point but his pedigree suggests he has more to offer as he progresses.
