Philadelphia Phillies standout Rhys Hoskins was mic’d up for Wednesday’s win over the Marlins and fans will absolutely love it.
Rhys Hoskins is absolutely beloved by Philadelphia Phillies fans and nothing is going to change that. The standout first baseman is a playmaker at the plate and in the field, but his bubbling personality is what makes him right at home in The City of Brotherly Love.
Thursday’s win over the Miami Marlins was a great example of that. Hoskins was mic’d up for the showdown. Trust us when we say that people all over Philly are not going to want to miss the clip below.
Rhys Hoskins mic’d up will surely make the day for Phillies fans
We don’t blame you if that has brought a big smile to your face. To start off in the clip above, Hoskins nearly got blasted by a fastball high up and in. He fell to the turf and had a priceless reaction to it. Later in the video, he was back up at the dish and blasted a homer.
He let an expletive fly and no one cam blame him for that. To top things off, the clip ends with Hoskins realizing he used some curse words and then he proceeded to apologize to his dad for it. Truly awesome.
In the end, the Phillies went on to take down Miami 3-2. With the win, Philadelphia is now 25-26 on the season and 2.5 games back of the New York Mets for first place in the NL East standings. Hoskins is hitting .266, with 11 homers and 31 RBI. He’s also got one fantastic mic’d up session he can also add to his season stats. Folks would surely enjoy seeing more of these.
