Unfortunate news has arrived for the Golden Knights, as both Ryan Reaves and Peyton Krebs have been placed on the COVID-19 list.

Ahead of their Game 7 showdown going up against the Minnesota Wild, troubling news has arrived for the Vegas Golden Knights. That’s because the team has announced that Ryan Reaves and Peyton Krebs have both been added to the COVID-19 list.

This comes after the Wild took down Vegas 3-0 on Wednesday night in Game 7. Now, the Golden Knights are facing plenty of adversity with their season on the line this weekend.

Earlier this week, Vegas also placed Brayden McNabb (missed Game 6) on the COVID-19 list. With Reaves and Krebs joining him, there’s a bit of a panic starting to arrive for Golden Knights fans. Krebs is yet to appear on the ice for Vegas this postseason, but the same most certainly can’t be said about Reeves.

The right winger has played in five of the six games thus far against Minnesota in the first round. Right now, it’s completely up in the air if he’ll be cleared in time to suit up on Friday night in the crucial Game 7. The Golden Knights entered the series as favorites to beat Minnesota, but the Wild are in a prime position to pull off quite the upset. Stay tuned to see which players will be available for Vegas come Friday night, but things couldn’t be less clear ahead of that meeting.
