At 6-foot-1, Trae Young is one of the NBA’s smaller guys, but he has a larger-than-life presence.

Quickly becoming one of the NBA‘s premier trash-talkers, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is hitting opponents with in-your-face buckets and all kinds of combative celebration gestures.

With his Hawks up double digits in the fourth quarter of Game 3 against the New York Knicks, Young gave Immanuel Quickley the “too small” gesture after blowing past him for a floater in the lane.

Quickley is 6-foot-3, but simply cannot keep up with Young, who danced his way to 21 points and 14 assists in the Hawks’ 105-94 victory on Friday.

Young enjoys playing villain against the Knicks

Clearly, Young is enjoying his newfound status as the Knicks’ public enemy No. 1. He wasn’t exactly shy at Madison Square Garden — hitting a game-winner in Game 1 — but his swagger levels up a size in front of home fans in Atlanta.

In the first three NBA playoff games of his career, Young is averaging 27.7 points and 10.3 assists.

The Hawks are now up 2-1 in the series and could put the Knicks in a seriously tough spot with another win at State Farm Arena. Game 4 will tip off Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
