1. John Collins

Last but not least, don’t forget about Atlanta Hawks power forward John Collins. After the two sides failed to reach a contract extension, Collins is all set to be a restricted free agent this summer. It goes without saying, but the standout is going to be one of the most coveted players teams may pursue in the coming months.

Collins is in the middle of a tremendous campaign for the Hawks. During the regular season, he posted 17.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. In the paint, Collins is an absolute force and is a playmaker on both offense and defense. Imagine him joining Dallas and doing more of the same.

The big man is going to have loads of suitors, but Dallas’ pitch could be too much for the Hawks to want to match. Then again, Atlanta’s run to the conference semis, where they now hold a 1-0 lead over the Sixers, could change things.

Either way, Collins is going to want to be paid top dollar this summer, and the Mavs would be wise to put an offer on the table for him if they can carve out enough space. At only 23 years old, and as a rim-running threat who’d be a perfect pick-and-roll partner for Luka Doncic, he’s about to enter the prime of his career and could be a gem of a get for Dallas for seasons to come.
