Florida State and Oklahoma will get the 2021 Women’s College World Series finals started Tuesday evening. Here’s what you need to know to watch Game 1 of the finals.

Florida State and Oklahoma will being their best-of-three series in the finals of the Women’s College World Series on Tuesday evening.

Florida State enters the finals as a bit of an underdog. The Seminoles have been great all season and wouldn’t be in this position if they weren’t one of the best teams in the country, but FSU will need to find a way to go score for score with the top-ranked Sooners, which isn’t easy to do.

So far this season, Oklahoma was able to hit 155 home runs, three shy of the record. This team is a threat to score every at bat. Florida State, meanwhile, has hit 45 homers. FSU has scored 293 runs this year while OU has scored 623.

The Seminoles might have their hands full as they try to keep up with Oklahoma.

But one advantage FSU does have is that it has an excellent trio of pitchers who might be able to give the Seminoles a shot here.

Kathryn Sandercock has a 1.16 ERA and 125 strikeouts through 169 innings pitched and Caylan Arnold has a 1.75 ERA and 140 strikeouts in 127.2 innings pitched. Add in Danielle Watson and her 2.29 ERA and 91 strikeouts through 85.2 innings pitched and you’ve got a group that could create issues for Oklahoma.
