4. WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside

It has been a rough two years for a second-round pick and the 57th overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft. And much more was expected from Stanford University’s J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, who has struggled to stay on the field. In two seasons with the club, the 6’2”, 225-pound performer has played in a total of 24 regular-season contests.

He’s been targeted a combined 30 times and caught less than half of those throws (14), good for 254 yards and one score. In each of the last two drafts, GM Howie Roseman has used first-round picks on wideout Jalen Reagor (2020) and Devonta Smith (2021), respectively. And Travis Fulgham has emerged as a highly reliable receiver.

3. DT Hassan Ridgeway

Over the last few years, the Birds have not only had their share of quality defensive linemen in the starting lineup but the team has had its share of depth. That was a big part of Jim Schwartz’s defensive unit during his stay with the team.

That really paid off in the Super Bowl LII win over the Patriots when in the fourth quarter, a fresher Philadelphia pass rush – in this instance Brandon Graham – got its only sack of the day of Tom Brady and Derek Barnett recovered the fumble. In 2019, the Eagles acquired three-year defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway from the Colts. He’s played in a combined 14 games in two seasons with the team and managed 19 tackles and three sacks.
