2. CB Anthony Brown

In April, the Cowboys used a second-round pick on University of Kentucky cornerback Kelvin Joseph. He’s one of eight defensive selections for the team in this year’s draft and he recently inked his rookie contract. Is he primed to challenge for a starting job this year? If that is indeed the case, where does that leave some of the other Dallas cornerbacks and terms of their future with the club?

Anthony Brown was a sixth-round draft choice in 2017 and in five seasons with the club. He’s totaled six interceptions and 35 passes defensed, to go along with four sacks and three forced fumbles. But he was also part of a team that allowed a whopping 34 touchdown passes in 2020.

1. WR Cedrick Wilson

This is the second wide receiver on the list but appearing for totally different reasons than Noah Brown. Cedric Wilson missed his rookie year due to a shoulder injury and has seen limited playing time in 2 seasons. But there’s a feeling that there is enormous potential when it comes to the former Boise State wideout.

So could the club part ways with him via trade and possibly obtain a lower-round draft choice in the process? He played in all 16 games in 2020 and caught 17 passes for 189 yards and a pair of touchdowns for this wide receiver-rich squad? It will be tough to see a lot of extended playing time with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb on the roster.

Next. Welp, this Amari Cooper injury news isn’t great news for Cowboys fans. dark
