Fiserv Forum evacuated after Bucks beat Nets in Game 4
Fiserv Forum had to be evacuated because of a fire in the building after the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Brooklyn Nets in Game 4.
The Milwaukee Bucks turned up the heat against the Brooklyn Nets in Game 4 on Sunday, tying the series at two games apiece.
Bizarrely, the celebrations were cut short because there was an entirely different fire that caused the Fiserv Forum to be evacuated after the game.
A police officer told Jared Greenberg of NBA on TNT that a fire was confirmed inside the building.
A Nets spokesperson confirmed to Malika Andrews of ESPN that the team was being evacuated.
Whatever happened was only a cause for concern for a few minutes, thankfully. By 6:21 p.m. ET, Greenberg tweeted that people were being allowed back inside.
Fortunately, it seems there was no harm done to players, fans, workers or media.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to their second victory at home against the Nets with 34 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block. He’s been great throughout the series, providing a foundation for Milwaukee to get back into it after losing the first two games.
Meanwhile, things keep getting more difficult for the Nets. They lost James Harden to a hamstring injury at the start of Game 1. They lost another star in Game 4 when Kyrie Irving suffered an ankle injury. He had 11 points in 17 minutes before leaving the game.
With Irving and Harden both out, Kevin Durant was left to carry the team on his own. He had 28 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block, but he also committed five turnovers and shot just 9-for-25 from the field.
The series will now return to Brooklyn with questions swirling around Harden and Irving’s availability. Antetokounmpo and the Bucks might have a major opening to steal a key game on the road.
