Yasmani Grandal was the hero for the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday and video of his walk-off hit from the stands is absolutely epic.

The Chicago White Sox are still red hot, folks. On Wednesday, the team recorded a thrilling win over the Tampa Bay Rays, with some free baseball needed to settling things between the two AL powerhouses.

In the bottom of the 10th inning, though, Yasmani Grandal stepped up to the dish and delivered in the best way possible, hitting a walk-off single to score first baseman Andrew Vaughn. While you may have seen the hit via your TV screens, we assure you that you’re going to want to watch the view from the stands. It’s incredible.

And the crowd goes nuts! With the White Sox allowing more and more fans into the stadium – with full capacity all set to start on June 25 against the Seattle Mariners – it’s really feeling like life for baseball fans is getting back to normal.

The reaction at Guaranteed Rate Field for Grandal’s huge hit was nothing short of tremendous. You could feel the energy from the other side of town. With the win, Chicago is now 43-25 on the year and five games ahead of the Cleveland Indians in the division standings. As pumped up as Grandal was to win things for his club, he knows it doesn’t mean anything yet.

So, in addition to being Wednesday’s hero, Grandal is also showing some outstanding humility as well? Amazing. Despite all the injuries surrounding this club, it’s looking like 2021 is going to be memorable for the White Sox. Jump on the bandwagon before it’s too late.
