Avery Bradley, Guard

One of the main reasons why the Lakers lost in the first round to the Suns was because of their lack of production from anyone not named LeBron James or Anthony Davis. If you look at the shooting guard position, there was not much help behind Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The signing of Wesley Matthews did not pan out, and Ben McLemore was essentially a non-factor in the playoffs.

If there is one player the Lakers probably regretted letting walk in free agency the most, it was Avery Bradley.

In his lone season with the Lakers, Bradley averaged 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from the 3-point line. Bradley did not participate in the NBA bubble in Orlando.

At the conclusion of the playoffs, Bradley signed a contract with the Miami Heat. The stint did not last long, as he was traded to the Houston Rockets in a deal that sent Victor Oladipo to Miami. Through his 27 games played between both teams this season, Bradley posted an average of 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, while accumulating an ugly field-goal percentage of 37.4.

However, that was more due to circumstance and the roles he played on those two teams, so if the Lakers want to add more two-way players to their lineup for cheap, then Bradley should be at the top of their bargain-bin wish list.
