2021 NBA Draft Lottery: Who should each team take with the No. 1 pick?

The Bulls frontcourt continues to be a question mark. Even after swapping Wendell Carter Jr. for Nikola Vucevic and they missed the playoffs and Lauri Markkanen could be traded this offseason — even though he improved in several areas he’s looking more and more like a versatile role player than a future star. An argument could be made that Mobley fits a need but adding the creation ability of Cunningham would be a far better play.
Cunningham could reasonably share the court with both LaVine and Coby White, sharing the creation burden with LaVine and letting White work off the ball (which definitely seems like the clearer path to positive impact for him at this point). It also sets up an extremely interesting defensive combination with last year’s first-round pick Patrick Williams, giving the Bulls two strong defenders to handle a variety of 2-4 positional matchups. The Bulls have just a 4.5 percent chance of landing the top pick but if they do, it should be Cade.
