2. Chris Paul can still play in this series

What should have the Clippers concerned is that they are down 2-0 … and Chris Paul hasn’t even touched the floor yet. Paul is currently out because of NBA COVID-19 protocols, but he is expected to return in Game 3, barring any setbacks.

Throughout the postseason, Paul has been a man on a mission. He’s averaged 15.7 points, 8.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game this postseason. His ability to hit the mid-range shot has been almost perfect, killing his opponents with his in-between game. The last time he played in a game, he dropped 37 points on 14-of-19 shooting. Even if he puts up half of those points, his energy, leadership, and playmaking will benefit the Suns.

The Clippers have Patrick Beverly to pit against Paul, but who knows if he can slow CP3’s roll right now, especially with Booker to still account for. LA hasn’t fared well against Phoenix without Paul in the lineup, and with him expected to return for Game 3, it could mean the beginning of the end for the Clippers.
