Next up we have veteran offensive guard Larry Warford. The 6-foot-3, 317-pounder is a three-time Pro Bowler, earning those honors between 2017-2019 while suiting up for the New Orleans Saints. Before that, Warford spent the first four years of his career in the NFC North with the Detroit Lions.

Warford opted out of the 2020 season, but he’s ready to get back on the field and make plays in the trenches for a new team. Well, why not the Pittsburgh Steelers? It’s clear Warford wants to get to a contender. He would want to get back on the gridiron after missing a year to play for a team in the middle of a rebuild, especially with him just turning 30 years old.

The Steelers would give him the chance to not only compete for a starting spot at right guard, but also be a part of a team who has aspirations of going on a deep postseason run. Last year ended in nightmare fashion for Pittsburgh, falling to the Cleveland Browns at home in the AFC Wild Card Round.

Looking ahead to this upcoming campaign, the team wants to do everything possible to try and send Roethlisberger out in style. This upcoming season really does feel like it’ll be his last one in the NFL. With that said, adding someone of Warford’s caliber this late in the offseason would be a big victory for the Steelers.
