1. Joe Dahl

Another player who the Steelers may want to reach out to is Joe Dahl. Unfortunately for the former Washington State product, he’s battled injuries over the years. He’s only been able to appear in 44 games since 2016, making 21 starts. With that said, Dahl checks in at 6-foot-4, 310 pounds.

What makes him such an appealing option too is that he’s quite versatile. Dahl can play either guard or tackle. In this case with the Steelers, he’d be looked at to replace DeCastro at right guard. However, should something happen at some point in the season and he needs to be moved around up front, Dahl could make a switch.

Dahl would also be a much cheaper option over Turner and Warford. He could get to Pittsburgh on a one-year, prove-it kind of a deal and hope that he can turn heads. Should that happen, the Steelers could then sit down with him and talk about their plans for the future. For 2021 at least, though, Dahl could be a wise addition.
