Los Angeles Dodgers star Kenley Jansen pulled off quite the move, as he brought in a mariachi band to serenade his teammates.

Before the Los Angeles Dodgers took on the Chicago Cubs on Sunday, veteran hurler Kenley Jansen provided the team with a surprise they probably were not expecting. Matter of fact, no one saw this coming.

Apparently, Jansen decided to hire a mariachi band to not only make their way to the stadium, but also serenade the entire Dodgers pitching staff. This is something you have to see to believe. Fortunately, the moment was caught on camera and posted on Twitter.

Kenley Jansen bringing in a mariachi band to serenade the Dodgers is priceless

Where to even begin with this? As you can see from the video above, Jansen led the band out and did so with an amazing amount of confidence and swag. Then, the LA pitchers were obviously all smiles as they heard the music being played. The small amount of folks who made their way early for the action were also in for a treat.

Did Jansen check in with Dave Roberts first before making this happen? Who cares. What we see here is absolutely priceless. As of this writing, Los Angeles is dominating Chicago too. Was the band’s pre-game efforts what sent the club over the top? We’re not experts on the matter, but we’ll go ahead and give Jansen the assist.

With the Dodgers in the middle of a tight NL West race with the San Francisco Giants, the team looks like it’s once again ready to go on a deep postseason run. Should they repeat as World Series champs, Jansen will undoubtedly need to bring back this band for the celebration.
