British Open 2021 sleeper No. 3: Guido Migliozzi (+15000)

No other sleeper on this list has odds even close to as long as the 24-year-old Italian Guido Migliozzi. However, he’s a young player who, at the very least, you should be well aware of coming into The Open Championship. And a big reason for that is the fact that Migliozzi has been tearing it up whenever he’s been on the course, including at some interesting tournaments for a player heading into the British Open.

For starters, Migliozzi finished outright second at the British Masters in May, which speaks to his ability to play the style of golf necessary to win at The Open. Furthermore, he went up against a stacked field in June at the U.S. Open, arguably the biggest test of his young career to this point, and he delivered by finishing T4 for the week. That speaks to a younger guy who is simply playing with a lot of confidence and who has been improving his game.

The big key for the Italian having success at Royal St. George’s will be for him to be locked in with his irons. He ranks inside the top 45 on the European Tour in Strokes Gained: Approach and will need every bit of that from the unruly lies that players can get even from the fairway at this venue.
