1. Jose Berrios

Last but not least, let’s not forget about stud Minnesota Twins pitcher Jose Berrios. The righty is 7-3 on the year and holds a 3.48 ERA. Just like the Rangers and Tigers, the expectation is that Minnesota will be sellers later this month.

Berrios isn’t the only standout who could get traded, as Nelson Cruz is being floated around different trade rumors too. With Berrios specifically, he’s in his sixth season with the Minnesota organization.

He’s never suited up for another team but very well could be on the move here sooner than later. Multiple teams have shown interest in Berrios, which of course is going to drive up the Twins’ asking price.

With that said, if New York is high enough on him, the club’s front office shouldn’t think twice about putting a sexy offer on the table. Berrios had some seriously nasty stuff, which drives opposing hitters insane with consistency. He’d sure look good firing off his different pitches over in Flushing. Mets fans would of course love this kind of a move.
