2. Trade for Pascal Siakam

Now, we get to the impact players the Warriors can potentially target with their draft capital and young talent on the team. One name that has been linked to Golden State through reports is Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.

The Athletic’s John Hollinger stated back in June that there was a “widespread expectation” that the Warriors were looking to use the seventh-overall pick and Wiseman for an upgrade, before naming Siakam as a potential option for them.

Flash forward to this past Saturday, league sources told Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer that Siakam is considered available for trade. In that case, the Warriors should definitely be in play for Toronto’s power forward.

Through 56 games this past season, Siakam averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 45.5-percent from the field. This past June, Siakam underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and is expected to be sidelined for five months.

Even with Siakam working his way back from an injury he would still be a fantastic addition for the Warriors. This is a Golden State team that is looking to return to their dynasty days. If they want to do so, they need to call the Raptors to see what it would take to acquire Siakam ahead of the 2021-22 season.
