3. Phoenix Suns

It’s no surprise that the Suns are on this list, especially with the run that they had throughout the playoffs despite losing a major contributor in Chris Paul during the peak of their playoff run.

After a 4-0 run in the conference semis, they faced a bit of a bump after losing Paul, but it wasn’t enough to boot them from the competition. Almost everyone was rooting for Paul and the Suns to bring home their first championship to Phoenix.

We all know the end of this story — we saw them unable to force the series to seven games against Milwaukee. But this team, led by Paul, with the talent of young athletes like Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton pose great potential for the Suns to finish what they started.

But, there have been rumors of other teams having an interest in Paul but it’s hard to see him getting closer to a title anywhere else. If he stays in Phoenix, the Suns should be right back in the championship mix.
