Odds of every NFL team winning Super Bowl 56: New York Giants +5000

It’s put up or shut up time for quarterback Daniel Jones. After flashing his potential for years, the New York Giants have pushed all of their chips to the center of the table and want to see what he’s capable of.

The franchise grabbed a bonafide number one receiver in Kenny Golladay. They also added Kadarius Toney in the first round of the draft. Most importantly, arguably the team’s best player in running back Saquon Barkley will be healthy and available.

Admittedly, the Giants have a ton of weapons on the offensive end, a solid defense and a head coach in Joe Judge that demands respect across the league. Still, their success and Super Bowl dreams, rest on the shoulders of Jones.

While he’s shown that he has the foot speed, arm strength and size of another quarterback who took a gigantic leap last season in Josh Allen, Jones just doesn’t inspire any confidence in us. Could he become a Pro Bowl level quarterback in year three? He sure could but considering the noticeable regression we saw in his overall game last season, we just aren’t ready to call the Giants Super Bowl contenders. In fact, they shouldn’t even be favored to win their own division.
