NFL Odds: Every team’s chance to win NFL Super Bowl 56
Odds of every NFL team winning Super Bowl 56: Green Bay Packers +1400
It all came down to Aaron Rodgers. Was he going to play for the Green Bay Packers or was he going to continue to sulk and take his ball elsewhere? Packers fans got the answer they were looking for just before training camp started, kind of.
Rodgers may have decided to put his grievances with the Packers aside this season but due to his reconstructed contract, he’ll have the ability to walk out the door the following season. While that won’t placate the fanbase down the line, for now, they’ll take one more deep playoff run.
Maybe it’s because of the offseason turmoil or maybe it’s because they believe his heart won’t be completely in it, but there’s no reason why so many teams should be listed above the Packers in terms of Super Bowl odds.
After years of allowing teams to waltz right into the end zone, the Packers finally did something about it and have fielded a top ten defense over the past few years. Aaron Jones is a rock-solid running back and relieves a ton of pressure off the shoulders of Rodgers. Also, Davante Adams is considered by most as the best wide receiver in the game.
If you believe Rodgers doesn’t want to repeat as a league MVP, you’ve lost your mind. Even worse, if you believe he doesn’t want to hoist another Lombardi before he ultimately bolts out the back door, then you’re equally as crazy. Expect them to be right in the mix to win it all.
