Odds of every NFL team winning Super Bowl 56: New York Jets +10000

If you ask fans of the New York Jets what went wrong, they’ll point a blaming finger in the direction of former quarterback, Sam Darnold.

Once thought to be the franchise’s savior, he became their scapegoat once things didn’t go the way they were expecting. Breathing new life into the franchise will be the second overall pick of this past year’s draft, quarterback Zach Wilson.

For the most part, Wilson received glowing compliments and comparisons to some of the best quarterbacks in the game today, including Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes. Still, no matter how great Wilson is going to be, he won’t be that player in year one. Also, with the lack of overall talent on both sides of the ball, there’s simply no way you can expect them to make any noise.

The main concern for the Jets will be their offensive line. Darnold spent most of his years donning the green and white running for his life. While Wilson figures to be much more athletic and a better thrower of the football, he won’t be given the time to sit down in the pocket and fling the football with confidence.

Also, and more importantly, the Jets share a division with the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. All of which figure to have better quarterbacks than the Jets. If New Yorkers are dreaming of a Jets’ coronation this year, they’re fooling themselves.
