2. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The reigning champs have a solid receiving core throughout, but Mike Evans and Chris Godwin make this engine go. Evan’s big body gives him the edge, while Godwin’s versatility suits Tom Brady’s typical receiver prototype. The duo combined for 135 catches, 1,846 yards and 20 touchdowns last season, and it could’ve been more if Godwin didn’t miss time with a finger injury.

With both coming in healthy, Brady should have an even better year with his star duo. The Super Bowl run provided valuable experience, and Godwin is coming in hungry. He was given the franchise tag, and a long-term deal wasn’t reached before the July 15 deadline. He is going to prove that he is worth the payday he was looking for this offseason.

Evans and Godwin are the leaders in the Buccaneers‘ receiver room, and they will be playing hungry — with ring No. 2 in mind.
