1. D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett – Seattle Seahawks

Against the Seattle Seahawks, defenders must decide between a freak of nature in D.K. Metcalf, or a speedy deep-threat in Tyler Lockett. They proved last year that the opposing coverage didn’t matter, combining for 183 catches, 2,357 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Lockett and Metcalf can be explosive down the field, and the latter’s  6-foot-4 inch 229-pound frame makes him a behemoth of a man. he showed off his speed at The Goldens Games this summer, running a 10.68 100m dash. It’s unfair how he can run by defenders or jump over them at will.

Lockett is the technical one, use his release and separation to get open. He’s also useful and Russell Wilson’s scramble drills, always trying to be available. That’s allowed him to pull off some sensational catches during his six-year career. His reliability is something Wilson leans on, especially in clutch moments.

Lockett is 28 years old, and Metcalf is only 23. Their youth favors them, and they should both be ready to go by Week 1.

If Seattle “lets Russ cook” he could be dishing out touchdown entrees to his star receiver duo.
