Chicago White Sox fans are openly mocking the Chicago Cubs’ pitiful lineup for Friday’s game.

While all is well on the South Side with the Chicago White Sox, things have certainly been better on the North Side for the Chicago Cubs.

The White Sox are running away with the AL Central in early August. Anything short of an ALCS berth will be seen as a massive disappointment for this World Series-contending team. As for the Cubs, they are so playing for next year, and we have no idea when they will be fielding a competitive team on the North Side again. Fate would have it they are meeting this weekend.

Behold! A Cubs lineup nobody should ever consider writing home about. It is so incredibly sad…

Chicago White Sox fans troll Chicago Cubs for their uninspiring lineup Friday

If this is not rock bottom for the Cubs in this rivalry series, how much deeper can it go?

While the Cubs can only improve from this uninspiring lineup, White Sox fans are loving every second of the North Siders’ collective misery.

And to think, people were super fired up about this interleague series back in May. It is amazing how much can change in two months.

Perhaps the funniest part about all this is the Cubs will be wearing their Wrigleyville uniforms. It is really, really hard to respect your neighborhood when nobody respects your Iowa Cubs lineup. This is not De Moines, this is Chicago. Look for the White Sox to win another series on the year, as they continue to build an insurmountable lead over the four division rivals in the AL Central standings.

One day, we will look back on this Cubs lineup and see how far they have come.
