Michael Kopech freaks out at umpire for brutal missed strike (Video)

Chicago White Sox reliever Michael Kopech wasn’t happy with umpire Pat Hoberg, and for good reason.
We’ll try to write this article without any corn puns.
Kopech was able to get the White Sox out of a tough situation in the top of the sixth inning, but in the top of the seventh found himself in trouble of his own doing, and umpire Pat Hoberg didn’t help matters.
With a chance to strike out DJ LeMahieu for the second out of the inning with a runner on second base, Hoberg missed what was clearly the third strike of the at-bat.
Where, precisely, did that miss?
Chicago White Sox: Michael Kopech impressing athletes across all sports
Kopech even got the attention of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The White Sox’s bullpen is among the elites in all of baseball, and they added Craig Kimbrel at the trade deadline. Come the playoffs, Chicago will be able to shorten the game with the likes of Kopech, Kimbrel and closer Liam Hendriks.
Good luck facing that murderer’s row.
