A new set of Premier League battles will be waged in Matchweek 2 as Crystal Palace v Brentford kicks off. Here’s how to watch Saturday’s match.

Saturday will be the start of a new rivalry for two London teams.

Crystal Palace and Brentford last met in a 2014 friendly. Their Matchweek 2 outing will be the first time they have ever played a competitive match in the Premier League.

Last time out, Palace was humbled 3-0 by title-challenging Chelsea. Meanwhile, Brentford got off to a fantastic start with a 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Luka Milivojevic will miss out again for Palace because of personal reasons. They won’t have Ebere Eze, Nathan Ferguson or Michael Olise either, as that trio continues to recover from various injuries.

Brentford team news

The one bummer of the win over Arsenal was the injury to Kristoffer Ajer, who hurt his ankle and is now questionable for Saturday.

Joshua Dasilva remains out for personal reasons and Mathias Jensen’s hip injury will keep him out again.
