A walk through Monument Park at Yankee Stadium may feel more like a religious experience than a baseball activity for diehard MLB fans. It’s impossible not to feel the ghosts of legends like Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle while spending time with their plaques ahead of a Yankee game.

No team has more tradition than the Yankees and it’s also fair to say that no team does a better job of showcasing it on a regular basis. Even fans of rival teams can’t help but appreciate all the talent that’s donned pinstripes over the years.

The key to maximizing the Monument Park experience is to make sure you have plenty of time to take it all in at your own pace. Even an offseason visit to the hallowed grounds can be a worthwhile experience for baseball fans who appreciate the game’s deep roots.
