Big news has arrived out of north London, as Harry Kane took to social media to announce he won’t be leaving Tottenham this summer.

Finally, Tottenham Hotspur fans will be able to rest easy at night. That’s because Harry Kane will end up suiting up for Spurs this season after all? You’ve got that straight.

On Wednesday, the superstar striker took to his social media accounts to let everyone know that he won’t be packing up his bags this summer to join a new team. Kane had been linked for a while to Manchester City, but he won’t be making his way to the Etihad Stadium before the window closes.

Harry Kane announced that he’ll be staying with Tottenham this season

At the end of the day, Manchester City probably didn’t have the funds to make a transfer for Kane happen, especially after the team brought in Jack Grealish from Aston Villa. With that said, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was always hesitant in selling Kane and he wasn’t going to do so unless an unreal offer was put on the table.

With Kane now fully focused on playing for Spurs this year, the club will now look to make a push for the Top 4. Kane and Heung-Min Son flying down the pitch should scare every EPL defense out there.

Kane knows there will be pressure on him, but he always steps up and makes things happen time and time again. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo must be elated knowing that he can move forward with Kane as part of his plans for this campaign.

Tottenham is a perfect 2-0 to start the year, highlighted by the season-opening win over Manchester City. More big-time victories should be on the way, with Kane ready to score plenty of goals in the process.
