Villa suffered defeat in the opening week of the season. However, they bounced back well with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle thanks to goals from Danny Ings and Anwar El-Ghazi.

Brentford stunned Arsenal in their first game in the top flight. They were then brought down to earth with a scoreless draw against Cyrstal Palace.

Attacker Bertrand Traore will be out until the international break with a hamstring injury while Trezeguet will remain absent. However, Ollie Watkins could make his return from a knee injury along with Leon Bailey and midfielder Morgan Sanson.

Brentford team news

Midfielder Josh Dasilva has been out since February with a hip injury and he shouldn’t be expected back any time soon.

Mathias Jensen returned to training last week and could make his way back into the lineup. Yoane Wissa may also be fit enough to join the midfield for the first time.
