College football small-space tailgating: More than just a plastic cup

College football tailgates are never at a loss for fun drink containers and the cocktails or other beverages contained within. You can set yourself and your party apart with these items related to your game day libations.

There’s nothing worse than trying to remember which of those plastic cups sitting on the table is yours. No need to guess when you have one of these cool tumblers from MyBevi. These eco-friendly containers are available in a variety of styles and colors, and even have hot/cold options such as this 18 oz. Quatro Canteen – a double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel bottle.

Let’s face it though, some drinks don’t need a container. If you’re a wine drinker you’re sure to love these Stella-Rosa single-serve cans. These ready-to-drink cans have flavors that include blueberry, watermelon, tropical mango, black cherry, peach, and pineapple.

You say wine’s not your thing? Well, how about some fun and delicious cocktails made with American bourbon?

Country music stars (and college football fans) Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line have teamed up to create Wolf Moon Bourbon. It tastes great in one of these cocktail recipes or, just on its own as a sipping whiskey.

High on the Hog (This is a large-format cocktail, meant to serve a group.)

Start to Finish: 10.5 hours
Servings: 12
1 750 ml Bottle Peanut Infused Wolf Moon Bourbon (In a large bowl, combine 1 750 ml bottle of Wolf Moon with 2½ cups of unsalted, unshelled peanuts. Let sit for at least 2 hours before use).
1 L Cherry Cola
24 oz Sweet Tea
12 oz Orange Juice Concentrate

Combine all ingredients and freeze for about 8 hours. Remove from freezer, stir the batch, and return to freezer for at least another 2 hours, up to 6. No thawing is needed as the alcohol and sugar content will not fully freeze. It should be a slushy consistency. Remove and pour into a punch bowl or serving pitcher. Garnish with cherries and slices of orange.
