Did anyone really think that retirement by Jake Paul was going to last?

Well, it looks like Jake Paul has already gotten the hang of the expression that nobody in combat sports is ever really retired.

Just one day after tweeting out that he was now a “retired boxer,” the younger Paul brother has walked his comment back and is now unretiring.

This may give some fight fans flashbacks to Conor McGregor’s first retirement, which also lasted all of about 24 hours.

Paul fought former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley on Aug. 29, with Paul winning the lackluster circus fight by split decision — which was highly controversial and laughable considering how Paul controlled the action, minus him getting tagged hard at one point.

Woodley has expressed interest in a rematch, which Paul teased he may accept as long as Woodley holds up his wager and gets an “I love Jake Paul” tattoo.
