ADP: 131.10

Derek Carr quietly had a strong finish to last season. Over the final five weeks, he was the seventh-highest scoring fantasy quarterback.

For the season, he was solid posting new career-highs in passing yards, yards per completion, and quarterback rating; he finished as the 13th-highest scoring fantasy quarterback overall.

That momentum should carry over to this season. Carr’s weapons have greatly improved since 2018, when Jared Cook and Jalen Richard led the Raiders in receptions.

Darren Waller has established himself as one of the game’s elite tight ends. Second-year wide receivers Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards have breakout potential. Veteran Willie Snead served as a reliable target for Lamar Jackson in Baltimore and further boosts the Raiders’ depth at the wide receiver position.

Carr will be an intriguing matchup play week-to-week. Last season, he thrived in certain matchups scoring over 20 fantasy points in nine different games.

He has established a floor as a solid QB2. Right now, his ADP is only 18th among quarterbacks making him a potential steal.
