Terrell Owens wants to fight former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb
The feud between Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb has taken another turn with the Ex-Eagles WR saying he wants to fight his former quarterback.
Terrell Owens once cried over one quarterback. Now he wants to fight another.
The former Eagles wide receiver is still so hung up on his feud with quarterback Donovan McNabb, he’s the one Owens would choose to fight if he could pick an opponent.
“I’d knock him out because there would be so much pent up,” Owens said on the Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe. “I’d be controlled. It’d be controlled anger. I’d be like a navy seal. They’re cool and calm under all conditions but there would be a fire burning inside of me.”
When Sharpe pressed him about going for a knockout, Owens had a zinger.
“I’d knock chunky soup from him,” he said.
Terrell Owens wants a piece of Donovan McNabb
Here’s the thing. T.O. might want to knock out McNabb, but that’s never a guarantee when you enter the ring with someone. Just ask the guys who have gone in with Jake or Logan Paul.
Owens played for the Eagles alongside McNabb in 2004 and 2005. He caught 124 passes for 1,963 yards and 20 touchdowns during those two years. That first season Owens and McNabb took Philadelphia to the Super Bowl, but they lost to the Patriots.
The next season, the partnership went wrong while the team went 6-10 and missed the playoffs.
In the years since Owens and McNabb have taken shots at each other in the media. The quarterback has blamed the wide receiver for unsettling the Eagles after their trip to the Super Bowl. Owens has claimed McNabb was out partying before that game.
