College football fans were back in droves across the nation in Week 1 but some fans couldn’t keep their politics out of it.

There were some awesome fan moments in college football the last few days.

At Virginia Tech, the return of a sold-out Lane Stadium was witness to one of the most electric “Enter Sandman” entrances in recent history.

At Wisconsin, a sea of red and white-clad Badgers fans nearly started an earthquake in Madison for the playing of “Jump Around” at the start of the fourth quarter.

Then, there was the return of the Iowa Wave after the first quarter at Kinnick Stadium where spectators wave to the Children’s Hospital across the stadium.

Those were all positive and celebratory moves from college football fans. But then, there were some fans who went the opposite direction.

College football fans in the south really don’t like Joe Biden

There was a vocal minority who felt compelled to inject politics into various games across the country. At a few games, there was a segment of fans who engaged in anti-Joe Biden chants.

Naturally, you can probably guess where these chants originated.

Fans at the Coastal Carolina game got the derogatory Biden chant started on Thursday night.
