1. James Robinson vs. Houston Texans

Perhaps the most tantalizing matchup of week one is Jacksonville Jaguars’ stud James Robinson against the league-worst defense of the Houston Texans.

Houston finished dead last in every rushing category last season and made no notable improvements. They gave up a whopping 2,564 yards with an average of 5.2 yards a carry.

During his breakout rookie year, Robinson averaged 4.5 yards per carry, so he’s efficient with the touches he gets. He will surely get quite a few of them against the Texans.

Robinson is especially valuable in 2021 because of rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence at the helm. This helps one, because Lawrence will eventually facilitate the ball down the field and make this a better offense for Jacksonville, and two, Robinson will get a lot of work to take the pressure off of Lawrence.

It’s a perfect situation if you drafted Robinson late in your drafts, as he’s poised for a breakout Week 1 against what will probably be one of the worst teams we’ve seen in recent memory.
