Start

Robby Anderson, CAR, vs. NYJ

Revenge game? Revenge game. Both Sam Darnold and Anderson will face off with their former team in Week 1 and it sounds like the perfect week for them to show what they are missing. The Jets didn’t get elite over the offseason so Anderson should feast.

Antonio Brown, TB, vs. DAL (Thurs.)

Antonio Brown has a fantastic chance to be the top receiver in fantasy football for the Buccaneers this season. Tom Brady looks his way often and it feels as though that he could go off this season. Week 1 against Dallas makes more and more sense as we near opening night.

Russell Gage, ATL, vs. PHI

Russell Gage steps up as the number two receiver for the Falcons with Julio Jones gone from the team. That means that a lot of targets could be going towards him. Of course, Calvin Ridley and Kyle Pitts are likely to be the top two options but in a game that could be a shootout, it makes sense that Gage could have some solid flex numbers come Sunday.

Sit

Odell Beckham Jr., CLE, @ KC

One of the biggest names in the sport is returning from a torn ACL and will have his first game action this Sunday. The Browns wide receiver is going to work his way back in and it would be unfair to think he should be in lineups as early as this week. Save yourself from a potential dud.

Ja’Marr Chase, CIN, vs. MIN

Chase is going to figure it out. Despite the doubts that many people have, he is going to figure it out. That being said, starting him in Week 1 sounds like sabotage to lineups due to the uncertainty that follows with him. Do not start him until he shows he can deliver.

DeVante Parker, MIA, @ NE

Parker will likely have Patriots top corner J.C. Jackson on him in game one. He also didn’t have a connection with Tua Tagovailoa last season as he did with Ryan Fitzpatrick, making it seem as though he isn’t a safe start at your flex position in Week 1.
