Former U.S. president Donald Trump claimed he would knockout current U.S. president Joe Biden if given a chance in the boxing ring.

It’s not exactly rocket science to say that U.S. political rivals Donald Trump and Joe Biden aren’t exactly friends, but Trump took it to a new level by claiming he would knock out Biden if they ever met in the boxing ring.

Trump is back in the news when it comes to combat sports, as he gets ready to make his boxing commentary debut on the Evander Holyfield-Vitor Belfort card. He’ll be joined by one of his most loyal supporters in UFC welterweight star Jorge Masvidal, as well as his son Donald Trump Jr.

While Triller refuses to say much regarding Trump’s addition to the upcoming boxing event, they are clearly embracing the amount of attention he brings. Trump made an appearance by phone at the pre-fight press conference and took the opportunity to take a shot at his 2020 presidential election adversary.

“If I had to pick someone in the world to box, my easiest fight would be Joe Biden,” Trump said when asked who he would hypothetically get in the ring against. “I think he would go down very, very quickly. I think Biden would go down within the first few seconds.”

Donald Trump will be on the Triller commentary team for Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort

This isn’t the first time that Trump has delved into the world of combat sports. He has a close relationship with UFC president Dana White and was a co-owner of the short-lived Affliction Entertainment MMA promotion.

Trump and Biden would never actually get in the boxing ring, especially with both men over the age of 70. However, it’s definitely a topic worth debating ahead of the Holyfield-Belfort event.
