Where is College GameDay going in Week 3?
By John Buhler
After heading to Ames, Iowa, where will ESPN’s College GameDay be heading to this week?
After taking in the CyHawk between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones up in Ames, Iowa this past week, ESPN’s College GameDay will be heading to State College, Pennsylvania.
Yes, the whole GameDay crew will be there in Happy Valley to see James Franklin’s Penn State Nittany Lions host Bryan Harsin’s Auburn Tigers in primetime. These are two undefeated teams ranked inside of the top 25. Whoever wins this game will be feeling great about themselves as they begin the bulk of conference play in the weeks to follow. This one will be a resume booster.
After a year without fans, it will be great to see State College with College GameDay present.
College GameDay heading to Penn State for Auburn game in Week 3
Penn State has two strong wins thus far on the year. The Nittany Lions beat Big Ten foe Wisconsin in Madison in Week 1. They are coming off a dominating victory over last year’s MAC champion Ball State at home. Auburn has scored 60 points in both of its games thus far. However, their two opponents have been home dates vs. Akron and Alabama State. They have not been tested so far.
Penn State could have a second top-25 victory in three weeks if it can handle Auburn on Saturday.
