5 bold predictions for Browns against Texans
By John Buhler
2. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will combine to rush for over 200 yards
It is very simple when it comes to how the Browns are going to win in a landslide on Sunday. They are going to run the ball with conviction behind the best offensive line in football. The big dogs of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are going to eat. Look for them to combine for over 200 yards rushing on the ground. Chubb will probably break 100 by himself, and Hunt will be close as well.
The best part in all of this is it will play exactly into the type of game plan Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski will want to implement. He loves to use the run to open up the pass. This is what the Browns’ contending roster is built to do and do well. When people tune in to see the Browns throttling the Texans, or see the highlights online, this will be a cornerstone game for the team.
As for if we see Chubb or Hunt bust out a 20-plus-yard run, it is bound to happen, but the plan is to pulverize the Texans front-seven to a pulp in front of the home crowd. Once the Houston defense is completely exhausted, look for Chubb to break out a massive run to pay dirt to let everybody in the NFL know the Browns are a serious threat to come out of the AFC this year.
Cleveland is in need of a major tone-setting game, and this is how they go about doing just that.
