5 bold predictions for Browns against Texans
By John Buhler
1. Cleveland will have the highest margin of victory over any team this week
Who cares what the point spread is in this game? The Browns are not only going to cover it, they are going to have the largest margin of victory of any NFL team that wins this weekend. If you have not used the Browns in your survivor pool league, this would be the ideal game to do that. Everything under the sun is lining up for the Browns to beat the ever-living snot out of the Texans.
Cleveland, for all intents and purposes, played well enough to win in Kansas City. While they did play well, their second-half collapse was embarrassing. With this game being in front of the home crowd, nobody is coming into FirstEnergy Stadium and ruining the Browns’ day, especially not the Texans, who some people thought would go winless. Well, David Culley won a game. David Culley.
As far as teams who could threaten the Browns when it comes to the largest margin of victory, the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the flightless Atlanta Falcons who were garbage at home vs. the Philadelphia Eagles last week. Unless Arthur Smith is the NFL equivalent of Chad Morris, Atlanta won’t suffer a loss worse than what Houston receives.
Even if you feel someone else wins by more, go ahead and bet your mortgage on Cleveland to win.
