2. Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are listed here because they’re a team that may not necessarily be sure where they’re going. As it stands, they are a fringe playoff team in the East with a crop of good players that don’t really move the needle. Wall is also a good player that on a team like this, may not move the needle anymore. But sometimes, change is good.

A Wall trade here could mean that Malcolm Brogdon is dealt from Indiana, which could give him the opportunity to burst into relevancy again. Brogdon is a really good point guard that is smart and versatile enough to contribute on any team in the league. He’s young and has a digestible contract that makes him a valuable asset to most teams in the league in need of quality guard play.

Even if Brogdon wasn’t traded, Wall could make sense here as a backup. He provides the change-of-pace and playmaking off the bench to accommodate the other smart players in Indiana. The Pacers were second in the league in assists and would not miss a beat with Wall there.
