Starts

Noah Fant, DEN, @ JAX

Sunday saw an injury to Jerry Jeudy as he suffered a high ankle sprain. This was a blow to fantasy owners as Jeudy was one of the top players considered to be a breakout this year and his line throughout the game was showing that he could very well be doing that. That will not be the case, for now, opening up targets for Fant to take. A matchup with Jacksonville should allow Fant to have a solid floor and possibly even “boom” for fantasy owners.

Cole Kmet, CHI, @ CIN

The most welcome sign from the Bears performance against the Rams Sunday night besides the use of David Montgomery has to be that Kmet is the starter at tight end. While Jimmy Graham sticks around, it’s clear that Kmet is the guy there and could become a top option no matter who quarterbacks the team. Expect a solid showing against the Bengals.

Sits

Dalton Schultz, DAL, @ LAC

Schultz got more looks against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers than probably anyone imagined with Blake Jarwin being back. That doesn’t mean he will be an option moving forward and should remain on the waiver wire rather than in your lineup.

Anthony Firkser, TEN, @ SEA

There are, perhaps, too many mouths to feed in Tennessee for Firkser to be a thing consistently. Julio Jones did minimal this week and Firkser was only able to bring in three catches for 19 yards. Sit him down even in a game that should be a shootout.

Good luck in your Week 2 matchups and be sure to check back next week for the Week 3 starts and sits.
