4. Seahawks vs. Titans predictions: Russell Wilson will pass for over 300-yards

Last week against the Indianapolis Colts, Russell Wilson kicked the year off in midseason form throwing 254-yards, four touchdowns, and two of his patented moon balls to Tyler Lockett for touchdowns. Wilson had the Seattle offense rolling as they put up 28 points, 21 in the first half.

While that was happening, the Tennessee defense was getting carved up by Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. The Titans gave up 289 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Murray was having his way with the Tennessee defense, scrambling around and finding receivers all over the field. He completed two or more passes to five different Cardinals receivers.

Despite Tennessee’s 2020 record of 11-5, their defense struggled last season.  They gave up 398.4 yards a game to rank 28th in the NFL. They also allowed 27.4 points a game finishing 24th in the league. With some new additions, they were hoping to have improved from last season.

That wasn’t the case in Week 1 with Kyler Murray,  and it won’t be the case with Russell Wilson in Week 2. With Wilson presenting the same type of challenges as Murray, Wilson should pick up right where he left off and have even more success against the Titans.
