3. Patrick Peterson will have his best game since 2018

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson is looking for a revenge game against his former team.

To put it lightly–Peterson and Arizona had a less than amicable split. During a PED suspension in 2019, the cornerback asked two seperate times for a trade away from the Cardinals. After it was clear he was sticking with the team, his performance fell off and the relationship between him and Arizona became increasingly tense. Since departing from the Cardinals earlier this year, he’s publicly taken shots at Arizona on social media.

Peterson is under pressure to prove to Arizona what he can do without them–and against them. Since he has more to lose, he’s in a position to go off on his former team. If only out of sheer spite, Peterson is going to have his first lights-out game in a Vikings jersey.

It won’t be easy for Peterson. He’ll have to face DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore on their home turf without much help from his struggling adjacent corners. Despite this, he’ll find a way.
