Here are five reasons why the Denver Broncos will defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday to bring themselves to a 2-0 start to the season.

In what was initially a tough first half in Week 1, the Denver Broncos dominated the New York Giants, defeating them by the score of 27-13.  The win certainly helped, considering every team in the AFC West earned a “W” in the first week of the NFL season. The Broncos can continue to build on that ground this upcoming Sunday.

The Broncos are now slated to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that lost to the Houston Texans, a team that many expected to be the worst in the NFL. That certainly works in Denver’s favor, and here are five reasons why they will emerge with their second win of the season.

5. Jaguars were undisciplined in first official game under Urban Meyer

This offseason, there were many that were apprehensive as to how the Jaguars would perform under new head coach Urban Meyer. If history has shown us anything , it is that not many college football coaches can successfully make the transition to NFL head coach. Meyer knew that while yes, he would be coaching first-overall pick Trevor Lawrence, he would have to endure some growing pains.

The aforementioned struggles arrived early for Jacksonville, as they were trounced by the Texans in their season-opening game. By halftime, the Jaguars were trailing the Texans 27-7. Lawrence’s debut had its ups and downs, and the Jaguars were penalized 10 times for a total of 82 yards. It was far from a great day.

While the Jaguars will return home to play in front of their fans, they face a tough test in the Broncos. The Broncos had Giants fans leaving MetLife Stadium in the middle of the fourth quarter.  It will be interesting to see how the fanbase reacts if things get bad.
